After an early hotel pick-up and a relaxed coffee while the balloons are prepared, you drift silently above fairy chimneys, volcanic spires, ancient cave houses, deep valleys and the lunar terrain of the region under the soft morning light. A professional pilot guides the flight, and the journey ends with a celebratory glass of champagne and a commemorative flight certificate.
Hotel Pick-up
Early in the morning you are picked up from your hotel in Cappadocia and transferred to the launch area near Urgup by comfortable air-conditioned coach.
Balloon Preparation
Before the flight you can watch the balloons being prepared for take-off while enjoying coffee, tea and snacks, roughly 20 minutes. You are accompanied by a professional pilot and the basket holds around 14 to 20 people. The flight begins at sunrise.
The Flight
During the flight you enjoy the unique panorama of fairy chimneys, volcanic spires, ancient cut-rock houses, churches, deep valleys and the lunar landscape of Cappadocia under the peaceful morning sun. Have your camera ready to capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Landing and Celebration
After about an hour your pilot guides the balloon to a smooth landing. Everyone celebrates the flight with a glass of champagne, and you receive a flight certificate as a memento of your time here.
Return Transfer
You are transferred back to your hotel after the celebration.
