We arrange your morning flight and airport transfers, and your private guide meets you in Izmir to explore Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis and the House of the Virgin Mary. Morning Flight
We organise your morning flight, departing roughly between 06:30 and 09:00, and take you to the airport. Your guide meets you at the airport in Izmir.
Temple of Artemis
First we visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, standing today next to the ancient city of Ephesus.
Ephesus Ancient City
We then drive to Ephesus, one of the most important harbour cities of the ancient world and mentioned in the Book of Revelation as one of the seven churches. Here we see the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theatre.
Lunch and the House of the Virgin Mary
We have lunch in a local Turkish restaurant and drive to the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the last residence of Mother Mary and today a shrine cared for by the Lazarist Fathers, revered by both Christians and Muslims.
Return Flight
