Tour Itinerary

Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque

A church, later a mosque, and a masterpiece of architectural history. With its innovative architecture, rich history and religious significance, Hagia Sophia was the largest Eastern Roman church in Istanbul. Its breathtaking domes that seem to hang in the air, monolithic marble columns and unparalleled mosaics make it one of the wonders of the world's architectural heritage, standing at the tip of the historic peninsula surrounded by the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn.

The Blue Mosque

Also known as the Sultan Ahmet Mosque, this breathtaking building is one of the most majestic Ottoman mosques in Turkey. Built between 1609 and 1616 by the architect Mehmet Aga, it is supported by four elephant-foot pillars, and its central dome is flanked by four semi-domes. It is called the Blue Mosque because of the more than 20,000 handmade Iznik tiles, decorated with tulip, rose, carnation and lily designs and lit by 260 windows.

Ancient Hippodrome

The Hippodrome of Constantinople in Sultanahmet was a public arena mainly for chariot races. It also hosted gladiatorial games, official ceremonies, celebrations and protests, and functioned through the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods.

Private Bosphorus Cruise

In the afternoon enjoy a two-hour private cruise on the Bosphorus with your guide and lunch on the boat. The strait is 30 km long and separates Asia and Europe, connecting the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. Both wooded shores are dotted with villages, resorts and fine waterfront residences.
