Combine two of Turkey's greatest destinations on a private two-day, one-night tour of Ephesus and Pamukkale. Fly from Istanbul to Izmir and spend a full day exploring the ancient city of Ephesus, then overnight in Kusadasi before travelling on to the white terraces of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis. A professional guide accompanies you throughout for a relaxed, in-depth journey through Turkey's Aegean heritage.
Day 1 - Flight and Ephesus
You are picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport for the flight to Izmir. On arrival you meet your driver and drive to Ephesus. The full-day Ephesus tour begins with the Temple of Artemis, then continues to Ephesus where you see the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theatre. After lunch in a local restaurant you visit the House of the Virgin Mary before checking in to your 4-star hotel in Kusadasi for the night.
Day 2 - Pamukkale and Hierapolis
After breakfast you are picked up from your hotel in Kusadasi and drive to Pamukkale, about three hours away. With your professional guide you walk through the travertine terraces and explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, with its amphitheatre, the Temple of Apollo, the Martyrium of St. Philip, the Cleopatra Pool and the Necropolis. After the tour you are transferred to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul, where you are met and taken back to your hotel.
